This is the 720 version if you encounter problems with the video:

This is the 1080 version for high-speed streaming:

We have been told that some viewers have had problems with the RoadGambler videos.

The problem seems to stem from the fact that our videos are uploaded and streamed at a high 1080 resolution. We use Vimeo which allows us to upload at the higher resolution.

If your internet connection is not super fast, you will have a problem playing 1080.

YouTube streams most of their videos at a lower compressed resolution, allowing for a smoother streaming experience, at the loss of resolution.

For that reason, we have made the main upload of this video the 720 version, which is what you would see on YouTube. 720 resolution should also play faster.

If this solves the problem, we will move our streams to 720.

This is the third and final installment of the Boomtown video.

Originally, there was not supposed to be a part 3, as I had already concluded my play.

I had cashed out my chips and was going to tip the dealers with the spare chips when I received a message from Lauren that she would be down in a little bit (which usually means like 10 to 15 minutes, in my experience).

Rather than stand at the table bored, I took the remaining dealer chips and decided to play them for the dealers.

Here’s the thing about playing for the dealers…if you tell them that the bet is for them, they’ll drop the bet after every win. I wanted the dealers to play like players, so I didn’t tell them that the bet was for them. I would give them the chips at the end, win or lose.

I wanted to prolong the play in case Lauren took a while.

Don’t read further if you hate spoilers…

Unexpectedly, after not too long, Lauren came down, ready to go. I told her that we would go after this shooter.

Things didn’t go as planned because the one shooter takes up this entire video. Unbelievable.

  • It always seems to happen that your gambling partner/SO is ready to go and you want to leave “after this shooter” and then the shooter goes on a long roll. Your partner doesn’t understand what is taking so long and you have to keep explaining that it is the same shooter. This usually happens when everyone in your party is super hungry and ready to get something to eat. You’ve received your meal comp and now you are just waiting and waiting for the roll to end!
    So close on the ATS.
    Thanks for the videos.

  • Would have loved to see the transaction when the tip was left for the dealers. Just boxcars left for the ATS…so close! Another great video, thank you for all the hard work.

  • I don’t think they minded that you didn’t tell them till you were leaving. Heck it was another 60 dollars thanks to the hot shooter.c

  • It was snake eyes that was needed for the ATS….Road Gambler won’t even press the dealers tip $…creature of habit ..?

  • Actually if you look at the video at 1 minute and 40 seconds they actually rolled a 2 and they didn’t mark it. I believe that would of atleast hit the smalls for ats

    • It wasn’t a 2 at the 1:40 mark….the field bet only got paid even money….look again….plus, the place bet got says give me 2….and paid $10 for the hit on the number 10.

  • Yeah, I wanted to see the dealers when you dropped the C-note for them as a tip after that super long roll…maybe in the end credit scene 😉

  • A table that has both the ATS and the fire bet has to be rare….even though this was a ‘DUKE” of a roll ( 5 or more passes made ) it only got 2 of the 6 points covered for the fire bet….meanwhile the Tall was made and was aces away from the Small and the All !
