1080 high speed version…

This is footage of a real craps game at the D casino.

I am not playing in this game. I am there in support of fellow gambler Darksider’s play and to document the game.

Darksider is attempting to use the RoadGambler method of play on the darkside, but he makes a pretty severe strategy mistake. See if you can notice the mistake. It’s not hard to notice, but you may not think it’s a mistake. Different people can have different opinions.

Going forward, we will always post two versions of the video. As we explained previously, Youtube streams their video by condensing the stream. This will sometimes result in a low resolution unless you have changed your setting to 1080.

Older computers will have problems streaming the high higher resolution 1080.

I never pull my bets on a six or eight, you still have an advantage over the house on the dark side. just my opinion.

  • Darksider was not putting full 10X odds ….when betting dark side u can put what odds u need to make 10X the flat bet,

  • I was able to catch part two of the video. don’t know if it was a glitch or not but by chance can u put back up some of your older videos thanks.

I think that was my fault. Consider it a free preview. 🙂

I am working on redesigning the website so that videos and older content are easier to find. It’s in the works.

  • Anyone upset with call for “seven out”? I play darkside but don’t want to upset table calling for 7! Lots of quiet joy when I collect though😎

    • Yes Ben, I heard that, too. On the come-out, not so bad. Or if everybody on the table including the shooter is playing with the house. Otherwise, not a good way to win friends at the table. I hope that wasn’t Road Gambler’s buddy.

  • Really love your videos. Are you done with youtube now?

Do you know if its ok to ask for a chair at the table? I have RA and cant stand for to long…

      Hi Ray,

I am probably moving back to YouTube soon.

The answer to your question is yes, it is ok to ask for a chair. Just tell the box or dealer. I’ve never seen them say no when you have a medical issue.

  • Been out of it for a few weeks so I have some catching up to do. RG I have watched this video three times already and each time I find I have more questions than answers. As a low bankroll and conservative player I have rarely played the dark side. This video has shown me another side to the craps table. My first question is on laying odds. In playing $25 on the DP/DC at the 10X odds bet at the D’s and the number is 4 or 10 is 250 or 500 the max odds bet? Also on this particular table what is the stack of chips in front of the boxman for? My knowledge of the dark side is win on a 7 and lose when the point is made and on the come out roll win on a 2 or 3 (push on a 12) and lose on a 7 or 11. Thank You and all the hard workers on your crew that make these videos available for us. Take Care!!

      Hi Charlie.

Glad you asked. Some of the answers to your questions can be found here. Craps Darkside bankroll requirements

The max odds is calculated based on what you can win. So for example, if the point is 10, and your line bet is $25, you can win $250 at 10x. That means you can lay $500 max.

I’m not sure what stack of chips you are referring to. Can you give me a time marker in the video?

As for how the Darkside is played, just think of it as this: you are taking on the casinos role, with the exception that the Darkside bet will push on 12. So if you bet on the darkside, the darkside bet will lose on the come out roll.

  • Hello RG, Well I have gone back and replayed the tape over and over. The stack is there when the video starts. Then at around 1:04,2:21 and 5:40 more chips were added to the stack. At this point the boxman passed on some white and red chips to the dealer got some greens and I presume he put them in the tip box. This happened again at 14:20, 15:24, 16:16 and 16:40 with another consolidation of chips to the stack and tip box. I am quessing the chips come from bets that players make for them. If this is true I just never saw it done this way before and is done to keep more red and white chips on the table. Thanks for all your advice and knowledge. Take Care!!

      You’re welcome, Charlie.

I find some of the finer points interesting also. I think that’s why we ditched the fast forward speed up idea.
